𝙄𝙨 𝙡𝙞𝙛𝙚 𝙧𝙚𝙖𝙡𝙡𝙮 𝙖𝙡𝙡 𝙤𝙧 𝙣𝙤𝙩𝙝𝙞𝙣𝙜?
I used to think that life was an all or nothing game.
📍I either get 100% of what I asked for or I am leaving.
📍If you don’t agree with me, I will not speak with you anymore (and I will make you pay for it).
Life (and maturity, that thing!) came to the rescue of my misguided behavior.
➡️ 𝙏𝙝𝙚 𝙧𝙚𝙖𝙡𝙞𝙩𝙮 𝙞𝙨 𝙩𝙝𝙖𝙩 𝙣𝙤𝙩𝙝𝙞𝙣𝙜 𝙬𝙞𝙡𝙡 𝙚𝙫𝙚𝙧 𝙗𝙚 𝟷𝟶𝟶% 𝙟𝙤𝙮𝙛𝙪𝙡, 𝟷𝟶𝟶% 𝙥𝙚𝙧𝙛𝙚𝙘𝙩, 𝟷𝟶𝟶% 𝙖𝙡𝙞𝙜𝙣𝙚𝙙.
The challenge is about finding that ‘constantly moving’ fine line where we feel content and achieved, without having had to ‘sacrifice’ something substantial to us.
Defining our values and integrity, owning our responsibilities and being accountable for our actions, thoughts and behaviors – are our signposts to that fine line.
